The Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra was formed in 1930 by local musicians for the enjoyment of making music through rehearsals and concerts. The 70-strong orchestra meets regularly on Friday nights in Basingstoke.

Following the recent update from Downing Street, and advice from Anvil Arts we are sad to say that our Spring concert Spring Serenade, featuring cellist Rebecca McNaught will no longer be going ahead.

In addition our June concert Italia Con Amore, featuring the Rivarate Choir & Collegium Chorus will also be postponed until further notice. We will be keeping you updated on the situation for this concert as more information is released.

This decision was not made lightly, but the safety of our audience and all our members is our highest priority. We thank you for your support and we hope to see you at one of our future concerts.
