Ann has served as Chair of the orchestra since 2021, having first joined in 2012 as a viola player.

She is a founder member of Basingstoke Community Arts Together (BCAT), working alongside the leaders of Basingstoke Choral Society, Basingstoke Amateur Theatre Society, and Basingstoke Amateur Operatic Society: www.bcat-org

Ann brings broad business experience to the day to day running of the orchestra. She is currently the Senior Independent Board Member at HM Land Registry and was previously an Executive Board Member at British Land.

 

She has also served as a trustee for several organisations, including the national charity Student Minds.
