Thomas Luke is set to perform Beethoven’s 4th piano concerto with the Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra at The Anvil on Saturday, February 28. The musician gained national recognition after clinching the Keyboard Category of BBC Young Musician 2020. He was celebrated as a "trailblazer" by Steinway & Sons.

Driven by a passion for "discovery and authentic human connection," Thomas Luke is known for his ability to transition between traditional concert repertoire, his own compositions, and expansive multi-piano arrangements.
Thomas has also received praise from the Vienna International Music Competition, acknowledging his "outstanding talent, a remarkable musicality, and a very accomplished technique."
His performances have been aired nationally on radio and television and have graced stages worldwide, including the esteemed Wigmore Hall in London, Leipzig’s Weißes Haus, Xiamen International Conference Centre Concert Hall, and Van Cliburn Concert Hall in Fort Worth.
Thomas, who was born on the Isle of Wight, discovered his musical spark in his grandparents' home under the stairs, playing keyboard games on the organ with his grandfather.
He began his piano journey at the age of four with piano lessons from Jude Harvey, later continuing with Eleanor Hodgkinson at the prestigious Junior Royal Academy of Music.
Now, Thomas studies under Vanessa Latarche at the Royal College of Music, where he is further mentored by Alim Beisembayev as a Margaret Mount Scholar, supported by the Cotes-Burgan Scholarship.
