About the Event
This concert is agreat mix of operatic and orchestral music by such great Italian composers as Rossini, Verdi, Puccini and Elgar. Rising tenor star Anthony Flaum will perform the operatic arias while dynamic British 'Cellist Lucy Scotchmer will perform Elgar's magnificent 'Cello Concerto, written in England during the same era in which Puccini and Verdi were writing their music in Italy - an interesting comparison.
