Nurry Lee, Piano

Nurry is a South Korean-British pianist who started playing the piano at the age of 6 with her Mum as teacher. Her progress was astonishingly quick, through winning a concerto competition aged just nine, a full scholarship to the Wells cathedral school at 11, to recently completing her undergraduate and masters degrees at the Royal College of Music. Already she has extensively toured as a soloist in Europe, America, Asia and West Africa, and you may have been lucky enough to hear her play Beethoven’s “Emperor” piano concerto this year at “The Anvil” with the BSO
