of Time |

Recorded at the World Premiere in November 1998, this piece was
commissioned by the Orchestra from local composer Graham Brooker.
The clip is from the exciting central section of the piece,
employing a large percussion section to build to the piece's climax.
Few people knew it at the time, but Graham was seriously ill with
cancer at the time of the concert, and died a few months after this
performance was recorded. As a tribute to him, the Orchestra
reprised the work in the first concert in the 70th season, in
November 1999
